Product Photography
Spring 2019
During my Spring 2019 photography class at the University at Buffalo, I experimented with product photography, utilizing physical techniques to manipulate my subjects and the lighting. I chose to photograph alcohol, as the reflections and curvature of glass bottles captivated my interest when experimenting in the photo studio. All photos utilized a two-light set up, along with a black acrylic surface to achieve the desired reflection. I also utilized gels for different lighting colors, faux ice cubes for more appealing and controlled aesthetics, and a water/glycerin mixture to perfect water droplets on various subjects.
