Marketing & Design Specialist

As Marketing & Design Specialist at the YMCA of Central Florida, I led the creation of print and digital marketing assets across 15 YMCA Family Centers throughout Central Florida. My work included campaign development, print collateral, digital signage, billboards, email marketing, and web advertisements, along with overseeing the creative direction of the association’s Brand Ambassador Program.
Throughout my time at the Y, I focused heavily on strengthening brand consistency and elevating the overall visual identity of the association through cohesive, system-driven campaign design.
The Leonard & Marjorie Williams Family YMCA
The Leonard & Marjorie Williams Family YMCA opened in March 2023 as the newest addition to the Central Florida YMCA network. I led creative development for the grand opening campaign throughout 2022 and early 2023, building a visual identity inspired by the history of Orlando’s Packing District and its citrus industry roots.
One of the centerpiece projects for the launch was the Capital Campaign Brochure, created for prospective donors and community stakeholders. The piece highlighted the history of the YMCA, the vision behind the Packing District, and the impact the new facility would bring to the community.
In addition to the brochure, the campaign included a wide range of promotional materials including billboards, flyers, print and digital advertisements, and email marketing assets.
Y Your Way
In 2023, the YMCA of Central Florida launched “Y Your Way,” a new membership model focused on flexibility, expanded options, and tiered pricing. Developed in partnership with LURE Design, the campaign introduced a more energetic and playful visual direction built around bold typography, vibrant imagery, and dynamic graphic elements.
Using the established campaign identity, I created a broad collection of marketing assets including billboards, banners, sell sheets, digital advertisements, and email campaigns.
RESET Challenge
As part of the YMCA Well-being Collaborative, I supported national YMCA initiatives through campaign creative and marketing toolkit development. One of the first projects I contributed to was the 2023 RESET Challenge, a 21-day wellness initiative organized by the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and distributed to YMCA associations nationwide.
I developed the campaign’s creative direction, incorporating a refreshed interpretation of the YMCA chevron alongside bold color palettes and energetic imagery. The final toolkit included social media graphics, flyers, and in-center digital signage designed for use across multiple YMCA markets.
